Turn missed questions into a study plan

Use a simple mistake log to turn practice-question results into focused learning sessions.

Keep the reason for the miss.

A score tells you how a session went. A mistake log can tell you what to study next. After reviewing an answer, write a short explanation of the gap: a concept you could not explain, a calculation error, a missed qualifier, or uncertainty between two choices.

A four-step working method

  1. Attempt. Answer before looking at the explanation. Note your confidence.
  2. Explain. Describe why your answer was wrong and why the correct one fits.
  3. Repair. Revisit a focused section of a trusted reference, then write a short explanation in your own words.
  4. Revisit. Return to the topic later and check whether you can explain it without the notes.

Use a small, specific log.

Choose the resource for the task.

If you need an explanation, start with structured teaching material. If you already know the basics, use practice questions to expose gaps. For quick review, a concise reference can help you locate a topic to revisit.
